(MUNCIE) - Jurors are expected to begin deliberations today in the murder trial of Terrence Douglass.
The Star Press reports the 27-year-old Muncie man is charged with murder in the shooting death of Jamel Barnes. Douglass is also charged with armed robbery and criminal confinement.
Prosecutors allege Douglass and another man robbed someone just prior before Barnes' death. They say Douglass shot Barnes at an intersection while the robbery victim's mother pursued him.
Prosecutors have rested their case and Douglass' defense is expected to call their last remaining witnesses today.
