(INDIANAPOLIS) - IOSHA is investigating an overnight fire at an east side factory.
The fire started just before 2 a.m. Tuesday at Mid America Extrusions near 30th Street and Emerson Avenue.
Firefighters say the explosion and fire started due to a malfunction in a machine that heats up aluminum at the factory.
They say a fireball actually shot up and caught the building's roof on fire.
No one was hurt.
Damage is estimated at $20,000.
