(OWEN CO.) - A man was rescued from the White River in Owen County Wednesday.
Bystanders heard the man yelling just before 1-pm and called authorities.
Owen County Deputies found 49-year-old Michael Voskoboynik hanging onto tree branches in the river. They along with state troopers got him out.
He'd been canoeing with a school group between near Spencer when he fell out of his canoe. He was wearing a life jacket and wasn't hurt.
