(CARMEL) - Rocker Peter Frampton’s recent performance in Carmel is getting social media attention after he reportedly took a fan’s cell phone and threw it.
A blog site and Frampton's Facebook and Twitter pages have discussed the incident. Frampton pointed to the blog for an explanation of "why I would relieve someone, in the FRONT ROW, of their phone/camera."
According to fans and the blog, someone in the front row at the Sunday concert was taking video of the show and using flash photography, despite multiple warnings not to do either. At some point, Frampton asked for the phone and chucked it back stage before continuing to play.
Some of the fans came to Frampton's defense, saying the person using the phone was being obnoxious
