(UNDATED) - Hoosiers are being warned about a potential threat to the state’s natural resources.
The Asian longhorned beetle is killing trees and has a preference for maple trees-- which poses a high threat to Indiana's forests and urban tree communities.
ALB has not been detected in Indiana. However, it was detected in Chicago.
Governor Pence has declared this week Asian Longhorned Beetle Awareness Week.
