(GREENFIELD) - An armed man got away after robbing a Greenfield, Ind., hotel Wednesday evening, police said.
Greenfield police said officers headed to the Comfort Inn and Suites at 2270 N. State St. after employees said a man had entered the hotel at roughly 5 p.m., armed with a gun.
The employees told police the man approached the front desk and demanded money.
Police said the man then ran away, heading south. There were no details on how much money the man got away with.
The employees described the man as white, 40-50 years old, and wearing a green T-shirt with black sweat pants and tennis shoes. He was also described at carrying a black backpack with green lettering. He was reportedly armed with a handgun.
