(PARIS CROSSING) - Jennings County deputies have made an arrest in a home burglary where the suspects were caught on video by a a surveillance system.
Earlier this week a homeowner on County Road 500W near Paris Crossing returned home to find his residence had been burglarized. Although the video showed a man and woman in the home, only the woman's image was clear enough to circulate the photo.
Maj. Jerry Shepherd, spokesman for the sheriff's department, said that tips from the photo, which showed a woman with a distinctive set of star tattoos on her shoulder, led to the arrest of 26-year-old Cortney L. Singer of Austin on a charge of felony burglary. She is being held in the Jennings County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
