(CLINTON COUNTY) - A Clinton County judge continued a motion to dismiss a rape investigation involving several Frankfort police officers.
WLFI-TV reported in April of 2012, the City of Frankfort, Mayor Chris McBarnes, the Frankfort Police Department, Police Chief Troy Bacon and several officers were named in a suit filed by a Frankfort woman who said she was raped by three men in 2011.
The suit said several officers botched the case when they mishandled the investigation because they personally knew the men she said raped her.
The City of Frankfort and Frankfort Police Department filed a motion to dismiss the case in June.
Monday, a Clinton County judge heard arguments from both sides regarding the motion.
However, court officials said the judge has not made a decision on whether to dismiss the case.
Another court hearing has not yet been set.
