(MORGANTOWN) - A man who was trying to push his truck off railroad tracks was hit and killed by a train.
Morgan County officials say it happened about 11:22 a.m. Saturday at Washington and Highland Streets in Morgantown.
They say a pickup truck was stopped on the tracks for some reason. The driver got out and tried to push the truck off the tracks but was hit and killed by an oncoming train.
A juvenile passenger in the truck was able to get out of the truck and was not seriously injured. The juvenile was transported to Riley Hospital to be checked out.
