(UNDATED) - A new program is aiming to help Hoosiers with mounting debt.
The dfree movement is a new campaign through a partnership between Prudential Financial and churches. It offers free financial education to help people break the cycle of poverty.
A study done by Prudential found that many residents turn to church leaders for financial information. At least 15 churches across Marion County have become involved with the program.
