(BOONE COUNTY) - A semi driver was arrested on drunk driving charges after he was involved in a five-vehicle crash in Boone County that shut down Interstate 65 Monday evening.
A woman was sitting in a parked car on the shoulder of the interstate with the emergency blinkers on. A man and infant boy were also in the vehicle.
Police said Jerry Ramey was driving the semi and sideswiped the woman's car. Ramey then swerved and went through the guard rail. Wreckage from the semi and guard rail struck three northbound vehicles.
