(INDIANAPOLIS) - It’s not quite a thrilling ride you would find at an amusement park, but the earthquake simulator promises to provide an ‘experience’.
The public has an opportunity to actually feel earthquakes ranging from a 3.0 to 7.0 magnitude--all within the safe confines of the simulator. It will be at the Indiana Government Center in downtown Indianapolis this morning. It's used as an educational tool for earthquake preparedness in Indiana.
The simulator is a popular, ongoing program used across the state through the Indiana Department of Homeland Security and the Indiana Geological Survey.
