(UNDATED) - Law enforcement officials arrested six people Wednesday on charges related to alleged prostitution and corrupt business dealings in Hendricks, Marion and Hamilton Counties.
The arrests come after a nine month investigation which began after the Hendricks County Sheriff's Department received complaints about possible criminal activity at several massage businesses in the area.
Officials served search warrants at two massage parlors in Avon as well as two homes in Indianapolis and one in Westfield.
The suspects were taken to the Hendricks County Jail.
The Indiana Attorney General's Office and the Indiana Department of Revenue posted "cease business operations" signs at the two Avon parlors, and two others in Indianapolis. Those businesses allegedly never obtained a retail merchants license.
