Last updated on Thursday, September 11, 2014

(UNDATED) - Strong storms passed through Central Indiana Wednesday, prompting tornado warnings and flash flood warnings.

National Weather Service meteorologist Brad Harold says flooding has been reported in some localized areas in Indianapolis. There have also been reports of trees down in the Lizton area in Hendricks County.

There was also a report of a 100-foot section of I-74 under two feet of water near mile markers 72 or 73 just east of Brownsburg, according to Harold. He says there have also been reports of 1" hail but they were still working to determine the timeline of those reports.

In Hancock County, there were some reports of small tree limbs down in near McCordsville. There was also some minor flooding and 50 mile-an-hour wind gusts.
