(COLUMBUS) - Columbus police arrested three men and recovered half a kilo of cocaine as part of a year and a half long investigation into drug dealing.
Sgt. Matt Harris, spokesman for the Columbus Police Department, says detectives served a search warrant Wednesday night at Northside Trailer Park near the intersection of County Road 150W and U.S. 31. During the search, officers allegedly found crystal methamphetamine, a half kilogram of cocaine and approximately $20,000.
Harris said the cocaine had a street value of about $500.
32-year-old Juan Geronimo Espinoza, 19-year-old Jose Macego Lopez and 27-year-old Alfredo Dominguez-Silverio were arrested an preliminary charges of Dealing in Cocaine Greater than 10 Grams, which is a Level 1 Felony.
"Our narcotics investigators have worked very, very had on this particular case," Harris said. "And as they told me earlier, this investigation is still ongoing and they are expected to make more arrests as regards to this particular investigation."
