(EVANSVILLE) - According to court documents, two men accused of having a homemade bomb in an Evansville apartment complex have entered a plea.
18-year-old Jourdan McNeely and 19-year-old Jake Fuchs pleaded guilty to criminal recklessness, which is a level 6 felony.
Police responded to a graffiti complaint at an apartment complex on Sunburst Drive on July 14.
Officers said they could smell chemicals and saw what appeared to be an explosive device.
The bomb squad neutralized the device, which police say was capable of causing severe injury or death.
Their sentencing date is scheduled for November 26 at 9 a.m.
