(GREENSBURG) — Authorities in Greensburg were called to the Honda plant Thursday morning to investigate an unknown substance.
According to Honda spokesperson Anita Sipes, the unknown substance was identified at the manufacturing plant early in the morning. Sipes says the plant's line has been shut down as a result.
Local and state authorities were called to the plant to identify the substance. No injuries have been reported.
According to Honda's website, the 1.3 million square foot facility opened in Oct. 2008 for stamping, welding, painting, plastic injection molding, sub and final assembly, testing and quality assurance.
