Homeowner Gets To Keep Flag Pole

(GREENFIELD) - A flag pole dispute is over between a veteran and his homeowners association.

As previously reported, a Greenfield couple was fined by its homeowners association for violating the local flag policy.

Bob and Judy Willits put one American flag up, and one M.I.A. flag. Bob is a Korean War veteran whose brother was missing in action in Korea.

Earlier this week, the Hancock County prosecutor warned the neighborhood's HOA to drop a lawsuit against the couple, or face civil charges.

The HOA dropped it and the couple can keep their flags up for as long as they own the home.
