Jasper police pulled over 35-year-old Casey Cole around 7 p.m. Monday night on U.S. 231 near 12th Avenue.
Police say Cole, the driver, wasn't wearing a seat belt and the car's license plate was registered to another vehicle.
Both Cole and his passenger, 35-year-old Cassandra Dekemper, were charged with possession of meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Cole was also cited for having an open container and false registration.
Both were taken to the Dubois County Security Center.
