(UNDATED) - A recent study ranked the top 50 American suburbs, and two central Indiana towns made the list.
In fact, one of them even came in at #2 in the Business Insider's study.
WTHR reports, researchers examined data on nearly 300 suburbs with populations between 5,000 and 100,000 within 40 kilometers of the nearest metropolitan area, then put together the list of what they called the 50 best based on average commute times, median household income, poverty, crime rates, public school ratings from GreatSchools.org, and a measure of housing affordability. Just glance through the city names and you'll quickly notice the list is dominated by the Midwest, specifically Ohio, thanks to reasonable cost of living.
Again, though, two Indiana towns made the list as well. You'll find Carmel at #14 and Zionsville all the way up at #2.
