(INDIANAPOLIS) - The holiday travel period is underway.
Indianapolis International Airport says it will have fewer flights but more seats available for the six-day peak Thanksgiving travel period compared to last year.
The airport says airline capacity for this year's holiday season is at its highest total since 2010.
AAA projects 46.3 million Americans will journey 50 miles or more from home during the Thanksgiving weekend, the highest volume for that holiday since 2007.
