(UNDATED) - A serious cold snap is headed toward Indiana. Indiana-based National Weather Service Meteorologist Michael Ryan says much of Indiana could see temperatures range from the 30s and dropping overnight into the high teens by late this week.
Ryan says mainly due to remnants of Typhoon Nuri that swept across Japan several days ago. He says the remnants are now moving off the coast of Alaska. That will draw colder air from Canada and across the Northern Plains and the eastern U.S. beginning by the middle of this week.
Ryan says the resulting temperatures will be about 25 degrees below normal for mid November next week. He says we may see some rain and possibly snow flurries.
