(GIBSON CO) - A death investigation is underway in Gibson County after authorities say a man’s body was found near railroad tracks.
The Gibson County Sheriff's Office says around 4pm Thursday, dispatch got a call from CSX Railroad workers about a man lying on the side of the railroad tracks south of the Princeton city limits.
When authorities arrived at the scene they say the found the man's body lying directly beside a set of tracks.
The sheriff's office says the coroner is currently investigating the death.
The man's name has not yet been released.
