(UNDATED) - It was two years ago today an explosion rocked a south side Indianapolis neighborhood- killing two people and damaging dozens of homes.
Last night, candles lined the streets of the neighborhood as both current and past neighbors gathered for a vigil.
The home of Monserrate Shirley was found to be the epicenter of the explosion. The explosion killed next door neighbors John "Dion" Longworth and his wife Jennifer. Prosecutors allege that the natural gas explosion was intentionally set in order to collect insurance money.
Shirley, Mark Leonard and Bob Leonard are facing murder and arson charges in the blast. All three suspects have pleaded not guilty to the charges. Mark Leonard's trial is scheduled to begin in June 2015 in South Bend. Trials have not yet been set for Shirley or Bob Leonard.
