(VINCENNES) - A Vincennes couple is in the Knox County jail after their two-year-old child tested positive for drugs in his system.
Vincennes police and the Indiana Department of Child Services were looking into a report that a two-year-old boy was being cared for by a mother that was using methamphetamine.
The child was admitted into medical care for health concerns and that was when officials discovered the child tested positive for amphetamines.
The couple, Judith and Gregory Whitten, were arrested Sunday morning around 10:00.
Both will be charged with neglect of a dependent.
