(TERRE HAUTE) - Bill Cosby’s scheduled March performance at Indiana State University has been postponed indefinitely in the wake of more than 15 women accusing him in recent weeks of sexual misconduct.
The Tribune-Star reports the university announced the cancellation Friday evening. No new date has been announced.
Hulman Center assistant director of business and marketing Jennifer Cook says the statement about the postponement came from the promoter, National Artists Corp., and Cosby's publicist. No reason was given for the indefinite postponement.
Cook says refunds will be available at the point of purchase.
The allegations against Cosby range from groping to drugging and raping. He has never been charged with a crime, and his attorneys have denied many of the allegations.
