(INDIANAPOLIS) - A special needs child is in serious condition after being hit by a truck on I-465 in Indianapolis.
The Wayne Township Fire Department says the child's caretaker stopped on the side of the road to address an issue. That's when the boy got out of the car and ran into traffic.
Officials did not specify why the boy's caretaker stopped on the interstate. There was no word on whether the driver of the truck would face any charges.
