(COLUMBUS) - Police in Columbus are asking people to be on the look out after a counterfeit $20 bill was found at a local restaurant.
The bill was identified as counterfeit after a customer tried to use it at a restaurant on North National Road, The Republic report.
The customer told police they got the bill in a transaction before going to the restaurant. Police say they knew the bill was counterfeit because of its texture and because the printed features on the bill were not correct.
Anyone who receives a $20 bill they believe might be counterfeit should contact their bank or the Columbus Police Department at 376-2600.
