(EVANSVILLE) - An Evansville man has been arrest accused of abusing his girlfriend’s two-year-old son.
Police say 21-year-old Shaquil Cabell told investigators he's been potty-training the child, so he got angry when the child urinated in his diaper and squeezed him "very hard."
Officials say the child has cuts and bruises on his torso, nose and ear. And also has a ruptured spleen, a lacerated liver and a possible pancreatic injury.
He's now being treated at Riley Hospital.
Cabell is facing battery charges.
