Temperatures will crash throughout the day on Wednesday. It will also be a very windy day, with wind gusts of 30 to 50 mph possible. Rain will continue on Wednesday, changing over to snow as temperatures fall. There are still a lot of questions about how much snow will fall. Even if it's a trace amount, the windy conditions could be make travel a bit tricky Christmas Eve night.
A few light snow showers will be possible on Christmas day.
