(HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE) - Olympic skier Nick Goepper admitted to vandalizing several cars in Hidden Valley Lake, Indiana.
Goepper admitted to throwing rocks at cars in August. Then in October, he turned himself in to police, WKRC in Cincinnati reports.
He blamed the vandalism on an anxiety attack brought on by depression. The prosecutor's office said Goepper has paid restitution to all the car owners.
Goepper entered into a diversion agreement, which means a criminal mischief charge will be dismissed after one year, as long as Goepper doesn't commit any crimes.
Goepper, from Lawrenceburg, won the bronze medal in men's ski slopestyle at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
