(INDIANAPOLIS) - Live Nation says an agreement has been reached to buy the Old National Centre in downtown Indianapolis from the Murat Temple Association.
A statement from Live Nation says the deal must still be approved by Shriners International and the sale could be completed sometime in late 2015.
"Because of the confidentiality agreement we are unable to discuss the transaction in future detail," Live Nation says. "We're confident though that we will be involved in brining great music and entertainment to the city for many years to come."
In 2010, the Murat Temple Association sued Live Nation over its agreement with Old National Bank to rename the building. That lawsuit was dismissed by a Marion Superior Court judge who said the lease agreement with the association allowed Live Nation to make the name change.
Live Nation also owns Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville.
