(JOHNSON CO.) - One person died and another was airlifted after a head-on crash in Johnson County Saturday night.
According to the Johnson County Sheriff's Department, two pick-up trucks were involved in the crash on State Road 252 near County Road 450 W. in Trafalgar, Indiana. It happened around 9 p.m.
Police say the first truck drove into the path of the second truck causing the head-on collision. The driver of the second truck tried to avoid the crash, but could not.
The driver of the second truck, 48-year-old C.M. Stigall of Morgantown, died. The young passenger in that truck was taken to Methodist Hospital. Police said the boy was awake and alert when he was taken to the hospital.
The driver of the first truck was airlifted to Methodist Hospital, according to police.
