(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana State Fair Commission and Indiana Farmers Mutual Insurance Company announced Tuesday that Indiana Farmers is the naming rights sponsor for the State Fair Coliseum for the next 10 years.
Effective immediately, the Coliseum will be known as Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
"The Coliseum is more than just a building," said Kim Smith, president and chief executive officer of Indiana Farmers. "It represents the common heritage we all share as Hoosiers. It is that same heritage that gave birth to our company more than a century ago, which makes this a natural partnership.
She said this is the right opportunity at the right time for Indiana Farmers.
"One that provides an exponential opportunity to grow our brand and our business," Smith said. "We're honored to lend our support to the coliseum for the enjoyment of all who come from across the state to use it."
State Fairgrounds Executive Director Cindy Hoye said it's the perfect partnership.
"Not only has Indiana Farmers been around as long as the State Fairgrounds, but both organizations exist for one reason only - to serve Hoosiers," she said.
