(KNOX CO.) - A man is arrested in connection with an attempted robbery at a Vincennes convenience store.
Police say just after 2 a.m. Thursday officers were sent to check out two men that were acting suspicious near the Hucks on 1515 Washington Avenue.
Authorities say the suspects had left the area before officers arrived.
Police say while the officers were investigating they found a black bag with a ski mask and a "dangerously realistic looking" air pistol stashed in the bushes outside the store.
Officers also found two men a few blocks from the store, one of whom police say was in possession a second matching ski mask and gloves.
Police say 19-year-old Dravon Griffin, a Vincennes University student, was arrested and charged with Attempted Armed Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, a Level 3 Felony.
He is being held in Knox County Jail on $25,000 bond.
Police say Griffin is also being investigated as a suspect in recent Armed Robberies occurring around the Vincennes University campus.
