(CORYDON) - A southern Indiana man was arrested for animal neglect charges. Detectives found one dog dead and another emaciated at the home of 26-year0old Seth Whittaker of Corydon.
Police were called when a utility worker was worried about the dogs. The dogs were not given proper shelter from the cold and were severely underweight.
Currently the surviving dogs are being cared for at a warm shelter.
Whittaker was taken to the Harrison County Jail, but was released after posting bond.
