(BLUFFTON) - Police in northeastern Indiana say investigators believe they’ve found the body of missing 3-year-old boy and three people have been arrested.
Bluffton police say the body was found Sunday night in a wooded area of rural Wells County. The department says investigators believe the body is of Owen Collins, who was reported missing earlier Sunday.
A 30-year-old man and 21-year-old woman have been arrested on charges of child neglect resulting in death and abuse of a corpse. A 16-year-old boy faces a corpse abuse charge. Police didn't immediately release details on their relationship with the child.
The News-Banner reports that Owen was last seen Saturday night and a search for him began Sunday afternoon after officers were called to a home in the city about 20 miles south of Fort Wayne.
