(TELL CITY) - A Tell City man was arrested early this afternoon after a seven month investigation into allegations of crimes against children, specifically possessing child pornography.
Indiana State Police arrested 64-year-old William A. Jordan, of 824 Washington St., on charges of possession of child pornography and dissemination of child pornograhy, both Level 6 felonies.
Police began their investigation in July 2014, after they believed Jordan was sharing pornographic images of children through online websites from July through August, 2014,
Thursday morning, investigators with the Indiana State Police Cyber Crime Investigative Technology Section and members of the Indiana Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant issued through Perry County at Jordan's apartment complex.
Detectives removed numerous computer and digital media articles in which they were able to recover sexually explicit videos depicting acts involving children as young as toddlers.
Jordan was arrested without incident and lodged in the Perry County Jail.
