(INDIANAPOLIS) - The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) recalled three different kinds of meats on Saturday.
The FSIS announced recalls on more than 100,000 pounds of pork and more than 8,000 pounds of chicken. The products may not be safe for consumption.
Kalle USA recalled approximately 168,473 pounds of pork products and Food Club Corp. recalled approximately 3,233 pounds of pork products produced in Spain because they were not inspected at the U.S. point of entry, according to the FSIS.
La Guadalupana Wholesale recalled approximately 8,856 pounds of chicken tamales because they were not produced and handled in the proper environment according to the FSIS.
The FSIS says no reports of illness from products have been reported.
