(JENNINGS CO.) - Jennings County deputies have arrested a woman they believe was involved in thefts of cash from Girl Scout troops.
The sheriff's department reports that the investigation began in September after a troop leader noticed money missing from an account. During the investigation, three other troop leaders came forward about missing money. Deputies say about $6,416 was stolen from the accounts.
60-year-old Robyn E. McClintock of North Vernon had access to the accounts and allegedly admitted taking the money out for her personal use. McClintock was arrested on a warrant for 13 counts of theft, ranging from Class D felonies to Class A misdemeanors.
