(TIPPECANOE CO.) - Seven dogs were removed Monday from a Tippecanoe County barn belonging to an alleged puppy mill owner.
Animal control officers said the dogs were found in unfit living conditions.
One had to have an eye removed and another has an injured leg. None had been vaccinated.
The dogs were taken from a former border collie kennel that was shut down in August after the owner failed to properly ventilate it.
The prosecutor's office is reviewing the case for possible charges.
