(SANTA CLAUS) - Local auditions for Holiday World’s 2015 cast of entertainers are scheduled for next month at the theme park.
The 2015 musical entertainment lineup at Holiday World includes the following:
Singers, dancers, actors and technicians interested in applying should prepare a one-page resume listing education, training and experience. Performers must be prepared to sing a ballad and up-tempo song (limit to one minute each) in country, pop, gospel or rock style. A CD player will be provided for audition accompaniment. All performers are asked to bring dance attire, as a staff choreographer will teach a brief dance combination to those who are "called back" following vocal auditions that day.
Holiday World's auditions will be held from Noon to 3 p.m. CST on Sunday, March 1, in the park's Kringle's Banquet Hall; parking will be available in the Raven Parking Lot.
The park's entertainment department plans to hire 14 singer/dancers, six singer/musicians, four specialty acts, 20 actor/dancers to perform as costume characters, plus three stage/sound technicians. To be eligible for hire, singers/dancers and technicians must be at least 16 years old by the start of rehearsals in March and actor/dancers must be at least 14 years old.
For more information about auditions, visit the theme park's website at HolidayWorld.com/Auditions or call 1-877-463-2645.
