(INDIANAPOLIS) - A proposed bill could make buying cold medicine more difficult.
The Senate corrections and criminal law committee is considering a bill that would require courts to report felony drug convictions to an electronic system.
Those on the list would need a prescription to buy cold medicine with a key meth ingredient.
A proposed amendment would make pseudoephedrine prescription only for everyone.
Supporters believe it will lessen Indiana's meth problems.
Others argue it would burden doctors during busy cold and flu seasons.
