(EVANSVILLE) - An Evansville man was jailed on drug dealing charges after police recovered 25 pounds of high grade marijuana.
WFIE reports, officers responded to a complaint about possible drug activity at a home on Bellemeade Avenue.
When police got there, the resident took off through the back door. But they caught him and took him into custody.
In addition to the large haul of pot, police say they found several handguns. There were also small children in the home.
49-year old Patrick Adams is charged with dealing marijuana and possession of a handgun by a serious violent felon.
