(STATEHOUSE) - We already knew ISTEP was getting shorter, but the General Assembly has made it official.
The House and Senate both approved a bill that was gutted in committee and replaced with language authorizing the reduction of the standardized test from a total of 12 hours to less than nine.
The governor signed the bill to complete its fast-track, which was necessary since the ISTEP exam window opens on Wednesday.
