(UNDATED) - A popular lottery game sold in 23 states will soon be unavailable. Lottery officials announce Monopoly will no longer be a scratch off ticket.
It's a favorite for buyers but the lottery says it's not making enough money.
Through November the scratch off sold $500,000. However the lottery sells near two million daily.
Still, some lottery players say they don't mind the new change.
"The lottery is a big, big thing. I don't think they will stop it because of that- if they take out the monopoly," Keith Godbey said.
Monopoly scratch offs will end December 26th.
