(WARRICK CO.) - Indiana State Police arrested a 39-year-old Newburgh man Monday after an investigation revealed he allegedly solicited sex with a female teen in February.
On February 10, Indiana State Police initiated a criminal investigation after receiving information that 39-year-old Chris Beppler had solicited sex with a female under the age of 16.
Police began their investigation after the mother of the teen called police reporting that Beppler was having sex with her teenaged daughter.
Beppler was arrested Monday afternoon after he turned himself in at the Warrick County Jail. He is facing a felony charge of child solicitation. He was later released after posting bond.
Investigating Officers are Detectives Tobias Odom and Toni Walden, of the Indiana State Police.
