(CRAWFORDSVILLE) - Authorities have identified a 63-year-old man who died during a fire at an eight-unit apartment complex in Crawfordsville.

Firefighters discovered Bradley Walden's body while battling the blaze on Friday evening. Officials believe he died as the result of a heart attack he suffered during the fire.

Crawfordsville Fire Chief Larry Patton says flames burned through the roof and completely gutted the north end of the building.

He says 14 people were displaced by the fire. No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
