(INDIANAPOLIS) - A 10-year-old boy was tied up during a home break-in Sunday on the city’s north side.
A homeowner in the 5000 block of Capitol Avenue told police that about 2 a.m., a man broke into the home through the basement window before tying up the child.
The intruder then demanded money and car keys from the woman and ordered her to open her garage door.
The suspect, described as a black man with a beard in his 50s, drove off in the homeowner's 2015 Honda Pilot SUV.
No injuries were reported.
