(DUNLAP) - A 19-year-old Goshen man is hospitalized in stable condition after he was extracted and airlifted from the scene of a crash in Dunlap Thursday night.
According to police, the man tried to pass another vehicle on C.R. 28 in a no passing zone when he saw another vehicle approaching and lost control of his vehicle, causing a head on collision.
The man was airlifted to Memorial Hospital of South Bend with possible broken legs, a broken arm and a broken wrist.
The passenger in his car, a 29-year-old Goshen woman, was taken to Elkhart General Hospital with cuts to her legs and abdomen. Another driver, a 47-year-old Goshen man, was also taken to Elkhart General with a possible broken ankle.
